
Governor Kayode Fayemi and Dignitaries Commission Mesmo Africa Limited in Ijan Ekiti
On the 19th of July, Ijan Ekiti witnessed a memorable event as Governor Kayode Fayemi, represented by the Commissioner for Agriculture, Honorable Folorunso Olabode, alongside a host of esteemed dignitaries, officially commissions the newly established agro-industrial company, Mesmo Africa Limited (MAL), located within the town.
Mesmo emerges as a promising start-up agro-industrial venture, poised to lead the charge as a premier agro-allied enterprise. Its vision encompasses large-scale oil palm cultivation across multi-locational plantation sites, processing of its produce, and strategic merchandising both locally and globally.
Established under the visionary leadership of Mr. Olajide Ijadare, Mesmo Africa Limited endeavors to leverage cutting-edge oil palm production and processing methodologies. With a steadfast commitment to excellence, the company seeks to maximize the potential of this vital agricultural sector.
During his address, Mr. Ijadare passionately called upon the residents of Ekiti to place agriculture at the forefront of their endeavors. He emphasized the pivotal role of farming in driving economic growth and urged the government to intensify its support for farmers. By fostering a conducive environment for agricultural innovation and development, Mr. Ijadare believes that Ekiti can emerge as a beacon of agricultural prosperity, benefitting both its citizens and the broader economy.
Governor Fayemi through his representatives commended the founder's unwavering commitment towards Ekiti State's development by attracting such a significant investment. He pledged maximal support from the State under his administration, emphasizing his government's dedication to agricultural advancement. Furthermore, he announced plans to provide soft loans for farmers to further boost agricultural activities in the State.

Following the commissioning, the Project Engineer, Engr. Ayo Abe led the dignitaries on an inspection tour of the factory's equipment, signifying a tangible step towards operational excellence.
